Opis
„Prairie Sky” to ozdobne proso rózgowate: imponująca roślina ogrodowa, zdolna nadać kompozycji głębi, charakteru i poczucia kompletności. Jej zimozielone liście zachowują nasycone zielone odcienie i utrzymują dekoracyjność nasadzeń przez cały rok. Kwitnienie trwa od sierpnia do października. W wieku dorosłym roślina zazwyczaj osiąga 0,8–1,5 m wysokości i około 0,6–1 m szerokości, dlatego jej przyszłą skalę łatwo wziąć pod uwagę podczas planowania nasadzeń.
Piękno odmiany szczególnie dobrze ujawnia się tam, gdzie oświetlenie, gleba i wilgotność są dobrane z uwzględnieniem jej specyfiki. Optymalne oświetlenie to pełne słońce. Najlepiej nadaje się gleba przepuszczalna. Podlewanie – niskie do umiarkowanego. Mrozoodporność – wysoka, do –25 °C.
W kompozycji roślina pomaga stworzyć wyrazistą strukturę i utrzymać zainteresowanie nasadzeniami przez cały sezon. Najlepsze scenariusze zastosowania to rabaty mieszane, nasadzenia masowe, nasadzenia strukturalne, pojemniki. Główne zalety „Prairie Sky” to całoroczna dekoracyjność, długotrwałe kwitnienie, dobra zimotrwałość, przydatność do uprawy w pojemnikach i zwarta forma. Aby zachować jej formę, wystarczy przestrzegać następującego schematu przycinania: trawy liściaste przycina się pod koniec zimy; zimozielone turzyce wyczesuje się i lekko czyści.

The packaging was excellent and the ornamental grass survived the trip perfectly. This is a cultivar I'd only read about until now. Excited to watch it fill out over the next couple of seasons.
Not my first order from this shop, and the quality has been consistent so far. Never seen Switchgrass ‘Prairie Sky’ offered before — happy to finally get my hands on one.
Delivery was fast, and the ornamental grass looked fresh straight out of the box. Never seen Switchgrass ‘Prairie Sky’ offered before — happy to finally get my hands on one. Would definitely order again.
The delivery was quicker than I had planned for. I chose Switchgrass ‘Prairie Sky’ after comparing several options. The delivery update was clear enough to follow.
I received a useful answer before choosing the final item. The tone was friendly without sounding scripted. The process was simple without feeling impersonal.
The early response after planting has been calm and even. A small fresh sign appeared at one of the growing points. It gave me confidence that the order had been checked.
