Description

Agapanthus "Flowers of Love" - an impressive perennial plant symbolizing love, purity and fertility. It is valued for its spherical inflorescences of blue or white hues on tall flower stalks, ideal for decorating gardens and creating a romantic atmosphere. 

Key features and description:
Symbolism: The name comes from Greek words meaning "divine love" or love for humanity.
Appearance: Agapanthus forms dense clumps of strap-like leaves, from the center of which strong flower stalks (40 to 100+ cm tall) grow, topped with umbrella-shaped inflorescences of many small tubular flowers.
Flowering: Most often blooms in summer (July-August), creating bright blue, light blue or white accents in the landscape.
Growing conditions: Prefers sunny locations, well-drained soil and regular watering during the growth period, although mature plants are quite drought-tolerant.
Usage: Widely used in garden design (in mixed borders, containers) and for cut flowers, and is also considered a wonderful gift symbolizing elevated feelings.
