Description

Agapanthus "Twister" - is a spectacular perennial with unique two-tone white-blue flowers resembling umbrellas. The variety is distinguished by its compactness (50–70 cm high), a purple-blue flower tube transitioning into white tips, and long summer flowering. Ideal for containers, mixed borders, and sunny locations.

Key Features and Description:

Flowers: Tubular, gathered in dense spherical inflorescences 15–20 cm in diameter. The coloration is unique: a rich purple or blue tube transitioning into snow-white petals.
Leaves: Narrow, strap-like, forming a dense, neat green clump.
Size: Upright bush about 50–70 cm high and up to 40 cm wide.
Flowering: Summer, abundant.
Application: Excellent for growing in pots on terraces, patios, as well as in open ground (mixed borders).

Growing Features and Care:

Light: Prefers bright sun.
Soil: Needs well-drained, fertile soil.
Wintering: A heat-loving variety. In regions with cold winters, cultivation in containers with transfer to a cool room (above 0 °C) for winter is recommended.
Pruning: To stimulate growth, it is recommended to remove faded inflorescences and damaged leaves, especially in spring.
