The perennial arrived in great condition, no complaints at all. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but the whole order went smoothly.

Description
Anemone coronaria "Governor" - This is one of the most popular and recognizable varieties with large, bright flowers of a rich red hue. The flowers often have a contrasting white border or light streaks at the base of the petals, and a dark center makes the coloring even more expressive. This is a variety with a very strong visual effect, which is excellent for prominent accents.
The plant forms tall flower stalks and large flowers, making it look great in flower beds. "Governor" looks very energetic and festive, so it is suitable for bright spring-summer plantings, commercial cultivation, and impressive floral compositions. This is one of those varieties that sells well due to its rich color and large flower size.

The early response after planting has been calm and even. There was no sudden drying after it was placed in the soil. Nothing felt rushed or carelessly prepared.
