Description
Anemone ranunculoides - this is a yellow wood anemone, less common but very decorative. Its bright yellow flowers create the effect of sunspots on the forest floor.
The flowers are small, with simple petals, but thanks to their rich color, they are noticeable even in the shade. Flowering occurs in early spring, often simultaneously with Anemone nemorosa.
The plant actively spreads by rhizomes, forming dense clumps. In natural gardens, it creates a very natural and harmonious effect. It prefers moist, rich soils and partial shade. It is characterized by high resistance and unpretentiousness.
