Description
«Bamboo Rufa (Clumping)» is an evergreen bamboo with a distinctive appearance, beautiful texture, and harmonious silhouette. Its evergreen foliage or needles maintain rich green tones and ensure the planting's decorative appeal all year round. Flowering occurs rarely and has no decorative value. As an adult plant, it typically reaches 2–3 m in height and about 1.5–3 m in width, so its future scale is easy to consider when planning planting.
To keep the plant's neat shape and expressiveness, it is enough to provide it with a suitable location and consistent care. Optimal lighting — sun or partial shade. Soil — fertile, moisture-retentive, well-drained. Watering — regular; especially important in the first season and in a container. Frost resistance — very high, around −25 °C.
The variety is equally suitable for decorative and practical plantings if its scale and growth habit are taken into account in advance. Best use scenarios — screen, hedge, Japanese garden, container. The main advantages of «Bamboo Rufa (Clumping)» are year-round decorative appeal, very high winter hardiness, suitability for container cultivation, ability to be used in hedges, and a distinctive decorative appearance. To maintain its shape, it is sufficient to follow this pruning scheme: removal of old stems and size limitation as needed.
