Description
The Berry Garden Starter Trio – 3 Plant set is an excellent choice for creating your own berry patch with a diverse and delicious harvest! The set includes three wonderful varieties: thornless loganberry, sweet gooseberry, and a productive blackcurrant. Juicy berries of various shades will delight with their rich taste and aroma, while unpretentious shrubs will be a wonderful addition to the garden. This set is ideal for lovers of fresh berries, homemade desserts, and aromatic preserves.
Thornless loganberry is a popular hybrid of raspberry and blackberry, characterized by virtually thornless shoots. The plant forms long, flexible shoots that are recommended to be tied to a trellis or other support.
The fruits are large, elongated, up to 4 cm long. As they ripen, they acquire a dark red or burgundy-purple color. The berries have a rich aroma and a pleasant sweet and sour taste, combining the characteristics of raspberries and blackberries.
Gooseberry 'Captivator' is a Canadian gooseberry variety that is characterized by the almost complete absence of thorns, high frost resistance, and sweet dark red fruits. The shoots are almost thornless: only at the base can individual soft thorns be found, which makes harvesting significantly more convenient.
Blackcurrant 'Titania' is a mid-season fruit ripening variety. The bushes of this variety are tall, strong, upright, reaching 1.5 meters in height. The shoots are usually thick, long, forming a circular crown. 'Titania' leaves are bright green, large, and dissected with small wrinkles. The fruits of this variety are black, glossy, round, and varied in size. The berries form long and lush clusters. The taste of the berries is a typical sweet and sour, the fruits have a green and dense pulp. 'Titania' is considered an industrial variety due to its unpretentiousness in care and stable, generous yield.
