Description
Betula pendula "Karaca" is an original ornamental variety of weeping birch with an unusual openwork crown and thin, deeply dissected leaves. Thanks to its elegant silhouette, compact size, and high decorative value, the plant becomes an expressive accent in modern and landscape-style gardens.
The main feature of the variety is its unusual finely dissected foliage, which gives the crown an airy, lacy appearance. Young leaves are bright green, retain a fresh color in summer, and acquire golden-yellow hues in autumn.
The crown is compact, rounded or slightly weeping, formed by thin flexible branches. The white bark with characteristic dark strokes is decorative all year round and looks especially effective in winter.
In spring, the tree is adorned with elegant catkins, typical of the weeping birch.
