Description

Chionodoxa luciliae "Rose Queen" - are early flowering plants. They start to show off in the garden as early as March. Since the flowers can bloom even under the snow, they are often called snowmen or snow queens.

The Rose Queen variety is truly royal; it will certainly be impossible to overshadow it with other flowers. If these perennials appear in your flower bed, they will definitely become its main decoration. In addition, they will fill the garden composition with tenderness and a spring mood.

Appearance and aroma
Chionodoxa Rose Queen have an extremely attractive coloring. The flower petals are delicate lilac with a bright yellow center. There are six petals in one flower. The variety is quite miniature, up to 15 centimeters tall. Due to the fact that several flowers can grow on one stem at once, Chionodoxa Rose Queen look very lush.

They are excellent for both single and group planting. They combine well with crocuses and other low-growing species.

Rose Queen bulbs should be planted in autumn. For Chionodoxa to delight you with their flowering in early March, observe the following rules:

  • prefer a well-sunlit area;
  • maintain a distance of 5 centimeters between bulbs;
  • choose fertile soil with good drainage and high humus content.

Planting depth - 5 centimeters. Then it is enough to feed the plant once during the period of shoot appearance.
