Description

Clematis "Armandii" - an elegant evergreen vine, valued for its early flowering, dense foliage, and pronounced fragrance.

This powerful climbing plant can reach 4–6 meters in length, quickly intertwining with supports and creating dense green walls. Its main feature is its evergreen leathery leaves, dark green and glossy, maintaining their ornamental appeal all year round.

In spring, among the first of the clematis, it becomes covered with an abundance of graceful flowers. The flowers are gathered in clusters, have a star shape, and a delicate white or creamy hue, reaching about 4–6 cm in diameter. A rich aroma with notes of almond, vanilla, or orange blossom gives them special value.

Flowering begins very early - from late winter or early spring and continues for several weeks, completely covering the vine with flowers. Thanks to this, the plant becomes a bright accent in the garden during a period when most plants are just waking up.

Clematis Armandii originates from China and warm regions of Asia, so it prefers sheltered, sunny locations and a mild climate. It is ideal for vertical landscaping - decorating walls, pergolas, arches, and hedges.

This is one of the most spectacular clematis species: the combination of dense evergreen foliage, early flowering, and strong fragrance makes it a true garden ornament with a distinct decorative character.
