Clematis "Blekitny Aniol" - is a perennial decorative vine of Polish selection, bred by Stefan Franczak in 1987, belonging to the Viticella group. This variety is famous for its unpretentiousness, frost resistance, and abundant flowering. The plant has thin, but strong, climbing stems, 3-4 meters long, and dense bright green leaves. Flowering lasts from June to August-September on current year's shoots: the flowers are large (8-15 cm, more often 10-12 cm), light blue with wavy edges, sometimes with a lilac-pink tint, with yellow-green stamens in the center; the shade depends on soil acidity and light exposure, there is no scent. The plant prefers sunny areas protected from wind or light partial shade, fertile loose soil with a neutral or slightly acidic reaction. Pruning is strong (group 3): in autumn, shoots are shortened to 15-30 cm, leaving 2-3 nodes. Winter hardiness is high (up to -30°C, zones 4-9), in severe winters it is enough to cover the base with mulch or spruce branches. Used for vertical gardening of walls, fences, arches, gazebos, as well as in containers; advantages - abundant flowering, ease of care, disease resistance, disadvantages - sensitivity to waterlogging and rare freezing without cover. This popular variety is ideal for gardeners who value beauty and reliability.
