Description
Clematis heracleifolia China Purple is an original bushy clematis that stands out for its unusual flower shape and long-lasting bloom. Unlike most clematis, it does not cling to supports but forms a neat upright bush adorned with numerous fragrant flowers of a rich lilac-purple hue.
The plant reaches 80–120 cm in height and blooms in the second half of summer, when most spring-flowering crops have already finished their decorative period. The flowers have an unusual tubular shape with elegantly twisted petals and are gathered in dense inflorescences. After flowering, the bush is decorated with silvery decorative seed pods that remain attractive until autumn.
The variety prefers sunny or slightly shaded areas with fertile, loose, and well-drained soil. It is distinguished by high winter hardiness, disease resistance, and ease of care.
