Description

Clematis koreana "Columella" is an elegant variety of Korean clematis with unusual drooping bell-shaped flowers. The petals, of a delicate pinkish-lilac hue with a lighter inner side, elegantly curve outwards, giving the plant a light and refined appearance. Flowering is abundant and prolonged, making the vine a bright decoration for the garden.

The plant grows up to 2–3 m tall and is ideal for vertical landscaping of arches, pergolas, gazebos, fences, and decorative supports. After flowering, fluffy silvery seed heads form on the shoots, retaining their decorative appeal until late autumn.

The variety prefers sunny or slightly shaded areas with fertile, loose, well-drained soil. It is characterized by high winter hardiness, disease resistance, and low maintenance.
