Clematis "Pink Fantasy" is a shrubby vine belonging to the Ranunculaceae family and originating from England. The plant grows 2-2.5 m tall and has pale pink flowers with a bright pink stripe in the center. It blooms from July to September. In most cases, it is used for landscaping and decorating trellises, arbors, and fences. Propagation methods include dividing bushes, pinching shoots, and autumn and summer layering. It prefers to grow in fertile, loamy soil, in sun or partial shade, and also likes constant watering. This very frost-resistant plant is practically unaffected by pests and diseases. Planting. Clematis are used for vertical landscaping of house walls, fences, arbors, and arches. Low-growing varieties are used in rock gardens. Clematis likes to keep its head in the sun and its feet in the shade. For clematis, use a soil mixture of sod soil, compost or manure; peat; sand, in a 3:1:1 ratio. Dig a hole, make a mound in the center, place the plant, spread out the roots, and water thoroughly. The planting depth is very important for clematis: bury the root collar 7-10 cm deep. With deep planting, clematis will easily withstand frosty winters, thanks to the strong root system that will form over the summer. Mulch the soil around the plant. Care. Supports are of great importance for the full development, abundant, and prolonged flowering of plants. Wooden trellises, tightly stretched nets made of strong fishing line, as well as bushes of weigela, corydalis, and forsythia are suitable for this purpose. Clematis care involves protecting it from overheating and drying out in summer and freezing in winter. During the growing season, alternate with the application of mineral and organic fertilizers. Before winter shelter, clean the bushes of old leaves and prune them.
