The planting material stayed stable during the first days. The plant adjusted to normal light gradually. So far, routine care has been enough.

Description
Clematis "Purpurea Plena Elegans" is a medium-sized clematis with continuous lush flowering on young vines from June to September with double, climbing flowers. The flowers, 5 to 10 cm in diameter, are always double, "ruffled" due to many curved petals and no stamens. The petals have a noble dark velvety purple-burgundy color.
Planting, Care, and Recommendations for Growing Clematis Purpurea Plena Elegans
Location: sunny or partial shade. Soil: from slightly alkaline to slightly acidic.
Clematis do not like stagnant moisture; they prefer infrequent but abundant watering. It is recommended to shade or mulch the soil at the base of the clematis bush with bark or similar materials, primarily to prevent soil overheating. For the same purpose, groundcovers or other plants with a shallow root system (e.g., geranium) can be planted.
Fertilize clematis in early spring when buds swell and new shoots begin to appear.
In the first year, it is recommended to prune all clematis, regardless of variety and flowering time, no higher than 30 cm from the soil to stimulate the emergence of new shoots from the base of the bush. Subsequently, since Clematis Purpurea Plena Elegans flowers on current year's shoots and belongs to pruning group 3, all last year's shoots are severely pruned in early spring above the 2nd – 3rd pair of buds (20 – 50 cm) from the ground.
Hardiness – zones 4 – 9.
