Clematis "Westerplatte" - is an amazingly beautiful variety of Polish selection. A climbing vine with velvety bright red flowers 10-14 cm in diameter. The stem length does not exceed 3 meters. The activity of green mass growth is medium: during the season, the bush produces 5-6 strong young shoots. The leaves are oval, smooth, dark green. Flowering is abundant, in two "waves". The first buds open in mid-May - early June (depending on climatic conditions) on last year's overwintered whips. By the end of June, flowering takes a break. The beginning of the second "wave" (on current year's shoots) in the middle lane falls around the end of July. As a rule, the plant retains its decorative appearance until the first autumn frosts.

Clematis - is a decorative garden climbing plant that decorates arches, fences, porches, flowerbeds. It can perfectly twine along a fence, as well as spread along the ground. Clematis takes a worthy place in the group called: climbing garden plants, vines. Clematis belong to the buttercup family. Clematis is most often used for vertical landscaping of house walls, hedges, gazebos, arches. Supports are of great importance for the full development, abundant and long flowering of plants. For this purpose, wooden trellises, tightly stretched fishing line mesh are suitable. Light-loving clematis, whose care consists in protecting against drying out and overheating in summer and freezing in winter, gratefully respond to periodic fertilizing. During the growing season, mineral and organic fertilizers are alternated. Before sheltering for the winter, the bushes are cleared of old leaves and pruned. The variegation of stunning clematis in your garden will allow you to get maximum flowering even in a small area. Growing, one bush can replace an entire garden.

Pruning type – 2 (Light). In spring or autumn, branches are pruned to a height of approximately 150 cm.
