Cornus kousa chinensis "China Girl" - this is a striking variety of Chinese Dogwood, distinguished by abundant flowering, a beautiful multi-tiered crown, and high ornamental value throughout the year. In spring, the tree is covered with large snow-white bracts, in summer it adorns the garden with rich green foliage, in autumn it turns vibrant red-purple tones and simultaneously delights with unusual decorative fruits. Thanks to the combination of elegant flowering and expressive autumn coloration, the variety is considered one of the best among flowering dogwoods.

Decorative Features

The main adornment of the variety is numerous large white bracts surrounding small greenish flowers. These are what create the impression of large snow-white flowers, completely covering the crown during the flowering period.

Flowering is distinguished by its duration and abundance. During the mass opening of the bracts, the tree takes on an extraordinarily elegant appearance and becomes one of the brightest accents in the garden.

The foliage is oval, dense, dark green, and shiny. It forms a dense ornamental crown that remains attractive throughout the summer.

In autumn, the leaves turn rich shades of purple, crimson, red, and wine color, creating a bright contrast with the ripening fruits.

After flowering, original spherical red fruits with a bumpy surface appear, resembling small berries or arbutus fruits. They not only adorn the plant but also attract birds.

The crown features a harmonious, broadly tiered shape with picturesquely arranged horizontal branches, thanks to which the plant remains decorative even in winter.
