Description
«Veitchii» is a decorative creeper: a spectacular garden plant capable of adding depth, character, and a sense of completeness to a composition. Its foliage or needles have the plant's characteristic «Green» color. Flowering continues from June to July, revealing the cultivar's characteristic palette. When mature, the plant typically reaches 10–20 m in height and about 5–10 m in width, making its future scale easy to account for when planning planting.
The beauty of the cultivar is especially evident where lighting, soil, and humidity are chosen to suit its characteristics. Optimal lighting — sun or partial shade or shade. Soil — fertile, well-drained. Watering — moderate. Frost resistance — very high, up to −30 °C.
In a composition, the plant helps create an expressive structure and maintain interest in the planting throughout the season. Best use scenarios — arches, walls, trellises, pergolas, vertical landscaping. The main advantages of «Veitchii» are very high winter hardiness, spectacular vertical landscaping, an expressive vertical silhouette, and versatility in garden compositions. To maintain its shape, it is sufficient to follow this pruning scheme: regular restrictive pruning.
