Crocus vernus "Striped Beauty" is an exquisite early spring variety that is one of the first to bring the garden to life after winter, filling it with freshness and vibrant colours.

Its large goblet-shaped flowers appear hand-painted: delicate white petals are adorned with expressive lilac-purple stripes, creating an artistic hatching effect. In the centre, a warm golden-orange glow of stamens enhances the contrast and gives the flower a special depth. The plant reaches a height of 10–15 cm, and the flower diameter is up to 5 cm.

Flowering begins as early as March and continues until April, bringing the first bright accents to the garden. It looks particularly impressive when planted in groups, forming dense flowering clusters.

The variety is unpretentious and highly winter-hardy. It prefers sunny areas or light partial shade and well-drained, loose soil without water stagnation. Bulbs are planted in autumn at a depth of 6–10 cm with a distance of 5–10 cm between them.

Care is minimal: in spring, a complex fertilizer can be applied, and after flowering, it is important to allow the leaves to die off naturally — this will ensure full nutrition for the bulb for the next season. Transplanting is carried out once every 3–4 years.
