Description

Dahlia "Boom Boom White" - this variety belongs to the Ball group. Bred in Holland. Of hybrid origin. Its dense, perfectly spherical flowers rise on strong stems. The inflorescences are double baskets, resembling a ball in shape. They are colored white with a lemon-beige center. They consist of ray and disc florets. The petals of the ray florets are rolled up more than halfway into a tube widening upwards. Their tips are rounded. The bush height is about 120 cm. Flower size in diameter is 6-10 cm. The bush is compact. Flowering is prolonged: from summer to late autumn.

They are very easy to grow. As a result, they offer a spectacular show. They are long-lasting as cut flowers and ideal for mixed bouquets. This variety looks great in flower beds, borders, and containers.

Sprouted tubers are planted in open ground in May – early June, after the threat of recurrent frosts has passed. Tubers should be planted in loose and fertile soil, with a slightly acidic or neutral reaction. It is planted in the middle or back of the flower garden. It is also suitable for creating a flower hedge (for this, tubers are planted closer than usual). Planting depth - 15 cm. Planting distance - 50 cm apart. Planting density - 3 tubers per square meter. If faded flowers are removed promptly, flowering can be extended. For winter, tubers should be dug up and stored in slightly damp peat, in a dark and cool place. This is done at the end of September.
