Dahlia "Fleurel" - these are gigantic white flowers with a creamy center. The flowers, or rather inflorescences, are the size of a dinner plate (up to 25 cm in diameter). This variety appeared in 1998. It is characterized by abundant and lush flowering. Ideal for beginner florists. It will also be a wonderful addition to any bouquet and floral arrangement. The inflorescences look very impressive against the background of green leaves, as well as together with other varieties of striking color. They are fully double, large in size, consisting of ray and disc florets. The ray florets are large and flat. They are pointed, slightly twisted, bent towards the stem and spread in all directions from the center of the flower. The bush is upright with strong stems.
It will grow well in sunny places protected from strong winds. Any soil will do, but it is better if it is a humus-rich loam. Sprouted tubers are planted in open ground in May - early June, after the threat of frost has passed. Planting depth - 15 cm. Planting distance - 50 cm apart. Suitable for growing in containers of at least 12 liters.
If you timely remove faded flowers, you can extend its flowering. It belongs to heat-loving plants. Therefore, for the winter, their tubers should be dug up and stored in slightly damp peat, in a dark and cool place. This is done at the end of September. The height of the plant is 90 cm, and the width is about 55 cm. The flowering period is long, from July to October.
