Description
«Black Lace» is an elderberry with a recognizable garden form and decorative appeal, which reveals itself differently throughout the season. The foliage or needles have a characteristic "Purple / dark" color for the plant. Flowering continues from June to July; the main flower shade is "Pinkish". As an adult, the plant usually reaches 2.5–4 m in height and about 2.5–4 m in width, so its future scale is easy to consider when planning planting.
For harmonious development, it is important to select conditions close to the plant's natural requirements. Optimal lighting — sun or partial shade. Soil — fertile, well-drained; requirements depend on the crop. Watering — moderate–regular; avoid prolonged drying out after planting. Frost resistance — high, up to -25 °C.
In the landscape, the variety easily works both as a standalone accent and as part of a more complex composition. Best use scenarios — solitaire, groups, borders, decorative compositions.
