Flowering Cherry "Kojou-no-mai" is a dwarf sakura, but still very beautiful. Its maximum height will be approximately 175 cm. This variety tolerates frosts down to minus 20C. The sakura does not need to be pruned, but if you really want to shape it a bit, it is best to do so in July, August, or September. A small bush, reaching a height of 2 m, grows slowly. The habit of the bush is upright. Young leaves are yellowish-green, turn green in summer, and yellow by autumn. The variety blooms in early spring in March-April, before the leaves appear. The flowers are pale pink, with a slightly reddish tint in the buds. The variety requires fertile and moist soil and a sunny location.
