Description

Galanthus elwesii - this variety has small white flowers with a diameter of 3-5 cm. The period of blooming and flowering of the plant is March-April. For Elwes' snowdrops to bloom for a long time, fertile and moderately moist soil in light partial shade is needed. The sprouts of this variety are planted in August to a depth of 5-10 cm. 
No susceptibility to diseases and does not freeze.
Depending on the size of the planting material, the planting depth of the bulbs will be up to 5 cm.
As drainage, the bottom of the hole can be sprinkled with sand or wood ash.
Snowdrops do not like crowded plantings very much, so a distance of 7-8 cm should be maintained between plants.
After planting, water only if necessary, when a prolonged drought is expected.
