Hyacinth Collection – Anna Marie & Splendid Cornelia – 100 Bulbs
Description
Galanthus elwesii, bulb size 4/5 — is an elegant early spring plant capable of decorating the garden with delicate snow-white flowers at a time when most crops are just awakening after winter. The plant reaches a height of 15–20 cm, forming narrow green leaves and small drooping flowers 2–3 cm in diameter with characteristic greenish markings on the inner petals. Flowering begins in late winter or early spring and lasts several weeks, accompanied by a light pleasant aroma. Snowdrop is highly frost-resistant and disease-resistant, making it excellent for perennial cultivation. It thrives best in partial shade or light shade under trees and shrubs but can also grow in sunny areas. It looks great in natural compositions, on lawns, along paths, and in combination with crocuses, daffodils, and muscari, creating spectacular spring flower carpets.
