Hyacinth Collection – Anna Marie & Splendid Cornelia – 100 Bulbs
Description
Galanthus "Mount Everest" is an exquisite variety with a truly noble appearance that lives up to its "high" name. Its flowers are larger than classic snowdrops and look particularly expressive: elongated, slender, like porcelain bells, they gracefully bend on thin peduncles.
The pure white outer petals are long and wide, creating a sense of impeccable purity, while the inner ones are adorned with neat green markings in the shape of a heart or a soft V-line. Thanks to its increased size and vivid contrast, the flower is clearly visible even from a distance, forming the effect of light "white drops" among awakening nature.
Flowering begins already at the end of winter — in February–March, when the garden is just beginning to come to life. During this period, Galanthus ‘Mount Everest’ becomes a true symbol of spring, filling the space with tenderness and calm elegance. A light, barely perceptible fragrance only emphasizes its refined character.
This variety is ideal for creating natural compositions, planting under trees, in rockeries, or at the forefront of flowerbeds, where its exquisite beauty unfolds to the fullest.

The variety I wanted to inspect first was Galanthus "Mount Everest". The parcel was packed neatly rather than filled at random. Very little soil had escaped from the container.

Nothing looked crushed, broken or excessively dry. The root area was moist without being waterlogged. I did not need to contact the shop again about it.
