Description

Geranium "Rozanne (Gerwat)" — is a legendary variety of garden geranium, recognized as the 'Plant of the Century' at the Chelsea Flower Show (2013). Its large lilac-blue flowers with a silvery center and expressive stamens create an 'eye' effect, giving the plant special charm. Thanks to its long flowering period and unpretentiousness, Rozanne is considered one of the best perennials for the garden. It easily fills empty spaces, grows well both in sun and partial shade, is suitable for planting under trees, quickly forming lush, openwork bushes. It looks ideal in flowerbeds, mixed borders, containers, and harmoniously combines with barberries, ferns, and other ornamental plants.

The bush reaches 50–80 cm in height and 40–60 cm in width. The leaves are deeply dissected, rich green in summer, and acquire spectacular red-orange hues in spring and autumn. Flowers up to 2.5 cm in diameter adorn the plant from July to August. The variety is highly resistant to diseases and frost-resistant down to –30 °C (zones 4–5), so it overwinters perfectly without cover. This is a 'plant it and forget it' category plant that retains its decorative appeal for many years with minimal care.
