Description
Gladiolus "Indian Summer" is a variety with a warm, rich coloration that is associated with late summer and soft autumn hues. Its petals combine orange, apricot, and slightly reddish tones, creating a "warm glow" effect in the flowerbed. This color works well in compositions with yellow, cream, and burgundy flowers.
The plant is tall – about 90-120 cm, with a strong flower stalk on which a dense spike-shaped inflorescence forms. The flowers are large, 8-12 cm in diameter, opening gradually from bottom to top, which extends the blooming period. The petals are smooth or slightly wavy, and the coloration may vary slightly depending on the lighting. The fragrance is weak or absent.
