Description

Gladiolus nanus "Nymph" is a true gem among small-flowered gladioli (Nanus type), captivating with its watercolor tenderness and exquisite pattern. The variety is valued for its special grace and ability to create an atmosphere of refined romance in the garden. The plant adds notes of nobility to the landscape, combining the porcelain purity of its petals with bright artistic accents, reminiscent of fragile butterfly wings.

Growing conditions and care

For successful flowering, gladiolus requires a sunny spot and fertile, well-drained soil. Thanks to its small height, 'Nymph' is significantly more wind-resistant than its large-flowered relatives and feels great at the front of mixborders or in containers. Regular watering during the budding period will ensure the full opening of the inflorescence. After the end of the season (in October), the bulbs must be dug up and stored in a dry, cool place until spring.
