Description
«Princess Tao» is a goji berry bush with a recognizable garden form and decorative appeal that unfolds differently throughout the season. Deciduous green foliage emphasizes the natural seasonal rhythm and creates a calm background for flowering or fruiting. Flowering occurs in spring and early summer; the main flower color is «Purple / Lilac». The plant forms edible fruits; the fruit color is «Orange-red»; ripening usually lasts from August to October.
For harmonious development, it is important to choose conditions close to the plant's natural requirements. Optimal lighting – full sun. Soil – fertile, well-drained. Watering – moderate. Frost resistance – high, approximately up to −25 °C.
In the landscape, the variety easily works both as a standalone accent and as part of a more complex composition. Best use scenarios – fruit garden, berry patch, edible hedge; compact varieties – containers. The main advantages of «Princess Tao» are edible harvest, extended fruiting period, self-fertility, good winter hardiness, and suitability for container cultivation. To maintain shape, it is sufficient to adhere to the following pruning scheme: sanitary/as needed. Pollination feature – self-fertile.
