Description
Blackcurrant 'Lady Late' - is a promising late-ripening blackcurrant variety valued for its large dark berries, rich taste, and the ability to extend the fresh blackcurrant harvesting season. Thanks to its late ripening period, the harvest can be enjoyed when many earlier varieties have already finished fruiting.
The main advantage of «Lady Late» is its attractive berries of a rich black color with a glossy skin. The fruits are collected in neat clusters, have juicy pulp and a pronounced sweet and sour taste with a characteristic blackcurrant aroma. The berries are especially good fresh, and are also perfect for making jam, jellies, compotes, desserts, juices, and freezing.
The plant forms a dense, well-branched fruit bush. When mature, it typically reaches about 1.2–1.5 m in height, making the plant easy to care for and harvest.
For abundant fruiting, blackcurrants are recommended to be planted in a sunny spot or in light partial shade. It develops best in fertile, loose, moderately moist, and well-drained soil. Regular watering is especially important during flowering, fruit formation, and berry ripening.
The variety has good winter hardiness and is suitable for cultivation in regions with cool winters. Periodic sanitary and rejuvenating pruning helps keep the bush dense, healthy, and productive.

A embalagem mantinha as partes delicadas afastadas do cartão.

I fusti sono rimasti sodi senza piegarsi ulteriormente.

I found no obvious weak point while unpacking it. The planting material looked fresh when I opened the box. It was a small point, but I noticed it straight away.
