Description
Ribes uva-crispa "Hinnonmäki Grön" - is a popular and hardy Finnish variety of green gooseberry. It forms a compact bush up to 1.5 m tall, characterized by abundant fruiting and good disease resistance.
The berries are medium-sized, green, juicy, sweet, with a pleasant light acidity. The harvest ripens in July–August. Frost resistance is high — the plant can withstand temperature drops of approximately -25…-28 °C.
For planting, a sunny spot or light partial shade with fertile, moderately moist and well-drained soil is recommended. Pruning is carried out in winter or early spring, usually in February–March.

Niets leek haastig of slordig voorbereid.

Delivery was fast, and the berry plant looked fresh straight out of the box. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but the whole order went smoothly. Looking forward to the first harvest, hopefully next year.

The roots still had enough moisture after the journey. The plant was fixed securely inside the box. That was enough to leave a good first impression.

Nothing looked crushed, broken or excessively dry. The root area was moist without being waterlogged. For an online plant order, this was reassuring.
