Description

Hemerocallis "Frans Hals" - is a vibrant bicolored daylily that is impossible to confuse with other varieties thanks to the striking combination of rich red and golden-yellow petals. Large flowers, 10–12 cm in diameter, open on strong flower stalks 60–80 cm high, creating a vivid contrast in the garden. Its unusual coloring makes the plant a striking accent in flowerbeds and landscape compositions.

Daylilies originate from East Asia, where they have been cultivated for many centuries as ornamental and medicinal plants. The Frans Hals variety is named after the famous Dutch artist Frans Hals and has become one of the most recognizable due to its contrasting bicolored blooms. It is valued for its long flowering period, resilience, and unpretentiousness in cultivation.

The plant prefers sunny or slightly shaded areas with fertile, well-drained soil. It is characterized by high frost resistance, drought tolerance, and does not require complex care.
