Heuchera "Obsidian" is a sun-resistant, decorative, undemanding, fast-growing perennial for landscaping, which maintains an almost unchanged black color throughout the year. This Heuchera variety tolerates direct sun but also thrives in partial shade. In dense shade, it may show a green tint. It is recommended as a black accent for flower beds, borders, mixed borders, and container gardening.

The rare, almost black color with a satin sheen gives the Heuchera Obsidian bush a special charm. In the sun, the leaves acquire a barely noticeable burgundy tint; in dense shade, they may turn green. The leaves are smooth and shine in the sun. Throughout the year, this variety practically does not change its color, maintaining an an even tone.

The Heuchera Obsidian bush grows quickly and vigorously. It almost doesn't change color during the year, maintaining a uniform leaf coloration. Period of decorativeness: April-November. The variety is resilient and tolerates short-term drought. Recommended light conditions: sun, dappled shade, partial shade. It blooms in summer with small white bell-shaped flowers on tall burgundy flower stalks.
