Description
Vaccinium corymbosum "Blue Dessert" - this is a variety of highbush blueberry bred by Lubera, characterized by very sweet, aromatic berries with a dessert taste. It forms a compact bush about 100–140 cm high. The berries are light blue and ripen in July–August. Flowering begins in May.
The variety is self-fertile, however, planting other blueberry varieties nearby promotes increased yields. It is highly frost-resistant — it can withstand temperatures down to approximately -40 °C. In autumn, the foliage takes on decorative bright red and orange hues.
For planting, a sunny spot or light partial shade is recommended, as well as loose, organic-rich, acidic soil with a pH of 4.5–5.5. The plant requires regular moderate watering and mulching with pine bark.

Nestas condições, voltaria a encomendar outra variedade.
