Description
«Tellmanniana» is a honeysuckle: a bright garden element where naturalness combines with neat form and expressive texture. The foliage or needles have the plant's characteristic «Green» color. Flowering continues from June to September and reveals the characteristic palette of the variety. When mature, the plant typically reaches 3–6 m in height and about 2–3 m in width, so its future scale is easy to consider when planning planting.
The variety reveals its decorative qualities best with a well-chosen location and stable, but not excessive, care. Optimal light — sun or partial shade. Soil — fertile, well-drained. Watering — moderate. Frost resistance — high, about −20…−30 °C.
In garden design, the plant is valued for its plasticity and ability to harmoniously support different planting styles. Best use scenarios — arches, walls, trellises, pergolas, vertical landscaping. The main advantages of «Tellmanniana» are prolonged flowering, good winter hardiness, impressive vertical landscaping, fragrant flowering, and an expressive vertical silhouette. To maintain its shape, it is sufficient to adhere to the following pruning scheme: thinning and rejuvenation after flowering or in early spring.
