Description

Hosta "Blue Angel" - one of the best varieties of blue giant hostas, which remains popular and has already become a classic! 
The 'Blue Angel' leaf blade has a thick, heart-shaped texture with wavy edges, reaching an enormous size of about 40 cm in length and 30 cm in width. The leaves are highly textured with a pronounced "waffle" corrugation and prominent ribbing in the form of 12-15 pairs of raised veins. Early in the season, the leaves boast a matte, rich dark grey-blue color, shifting to greener tones by mid-summer while retaining distinct blue hues.
The 'Blue Angel' flowers, lilac-white and approximately 5 cm long, adorn the plant in June-July.
'Blue Angel' is a giant hosta variety, forming a cascading, dome-shaped clump about 90 cm tall and up to 200 cm in diameter. Its growth rate is moderate.
This variety is resistant to slugs and snails. It is also relatively sun-tolerant.
