Description

Hyacinthus "Pink Pearl" - this garden hyacinth has long gained popularity among gardeners due to its good decorative qualities and wide variety of species. The perennial bulbous plant of the Pink Pearl variety can be planted both in open ground and as a potted plant.

Appearance and Aroma
The Hyacinth Pink Pearl variety is a spectacular large-flowered plant that appears one of the first in the spring garden. The hyacinth flowers resemble stars, with pointed petals beautifully curled outwards. Hyacinth flowers are collected in large, dense racemose inflorescences. Thanks to its delicate bright pink petal color, Hyacinth Pink Pearl will become a true gem of the garden, attracting the attention of others.

Main characteristics of the variety:

  • Flowering period: March-April.
  • Plant height: 20—30 cm.
  • Flower diameter: up to 5 cm.
  • Leaf color: green.
  • Plant color: pink.


    Planting (Hyacinth Pink Pearl)
To get beautiful hyacinths, you need to adhere to the basic recommendations for cultivation and care. The main advantages of the plants are compactness and a long flowering period in open ground.

Planting time. Pink Pearl hyacinths should be planted in open ground in September-October.

Planting location. Hyacinths prefer well-lit sunny places and partial shade. The area should be protected from wind. Perennial plants grow best in fertile, well-drained, and moderately moist soils.

Planting depth. Hyacinth planting material is deepened by 5 cm. Holes are dug 10 cm apart.

Care. Hyacinths need regular watering, especially during periods of intense growth, drought, and flowering. If plants are grown in poor substrate conditions, it is necessary to fertilize them with multicomponent fertilizers. After the leaves wilt, the bulbs should be dug up, cleaned of excess soil, dried, and stored in a dry place until autumn planting.
