Description
Hyacinthus “Royal Navy” - is one of the most intensely blue hyacinths with a deep velvety hue that appears almost dark purple in certain lighting. The dense cylindrical inflorescence consists of many neatly arranged flowers, creating the effect of a solid "pinecone-shaped" bud.
The plant is compact, about 20-25 cm high, with a strong flower stalk that holds its shape well even after rain. Flowering occurs in March, April and lasts quite long, especially in cool weather.
The variety features a strong classic fragrance and is perfect for contrasting plantings. It looks particularly effective when combined with white and pink hyacinths, and is also popular for forcing.

The stems felt firm enough for careful planting. Nothing looked crushed, broken or excessively dry. It gave me confidence that the order had been checked.

After planting, the plant did not show obvious stress. The root area settled without needing extra handling. The main item in this parcel was Hyacinthus "Royal Navy".
