Hyacinthus “Royal Navy” - is one of the most intense blue hyacinths with a deep velvety hue, which under certain lighting appears almost dark purple. The dense cylindrical inflorescence consists of many neatly arranged flowers, creating the effect of a solid "pinecone-like" bud.
The plant is compact, about 20-25 cm high, with a strong flower stalk that holds its shape well even after rain. Flowering occurs in March, April and lasts quite a long time, especially in cool weather.
The variety is characterized by a strong classic aroma and is perfect for contrasting plantings. It looks especially impressive in combination with white and pink hyacinths, and is also in demand for forcing.
