Iris hollandica "Lion King" is a spectacular perennial bulbous variety of Dutch iris, bred in the Netherlands. The plant reaches 50–75 cm in height and forms strong flower stalks with 1–2 fragrant flowers.
The flowers feature an unusual combination of golden-yellow, bronze, brown, and purple hues, and the outer petals are adorned with bright yellow crests. The leaves are narrow, lanceolate, and deep green.
Flowering occurs in late spring - early summer. The variety prefers sunny areas, is suitable for flower beds, group plantings, forcing, and growing for cut flowers.
