Description
Iris reticulata "Alida" is an early variety with a lighter, delicate color, often used to create "airy" and calm compositions. Unlike purple irises, this variety looks lighter and pairs well with white, yellow, and pastel colors.
The plant is compact – about 10-15 cm tall, with narrow, vertical leaves. The flowers are large for their size – approximately 5-7 cm, with a classic shape. The coloration is light with a soft transition of shades; the lower petals are adorned with a contrasting yellow spot and thin dark strokes. The fragrance is light and pleasant.

The first thing I noticed was the clean condition of the shoots. The plant looked prepared for shipping rather than freshly disturbed. This mattered more to me than a promotional promise.

Beautiful border irises, I have similar very fragrant undemanding flowers and I will not give these up either.
