Hyacinth Collection – Blue Jacket & Splendid Cornelia – 100 Bulbs
Hyacinth Collection – Anna Marie & Splendid Cornelia – 100 Bulbs
Description
Iris reticulata "Painted Lady" is an early variety with an unusual bicolor coloration that stands out among classic blue and purple irises. Its delicate hues make it an excellent choice for lighter and more refined spring compositions, especially when combined with white, cream, and pink flowers.
The plant is compact - about 10-15 cm tall, with narrow, upright leaves that appear simultaneously with the bloom. The flowers are large for their size - approximately 5-7 cm, with a classic shape. The upper petals are lavender or lilac, and the lower ones are lighter, with a pronounced yellow spot and thin contrasting strokes. The fragrance is light and pleasant.

Similar-looking items were still easy to tell apart. The quantity in the parcel matched the confirmation. I would be comfortable ordering another variety this way.
The planting material looked fresh when I opened the box. I had selected Iris reticulata "Painted Lady" for this delivery. The stems felt firm enough for careful planting.
The plant held its shape once the protective wrapping was removed. There was no sudden drying after it was placed in the soil. A small fresh sign appeared at one of the growing points.
