Acer palmatum "Katsura" is one of the most spectacular varieties of Japanese maple, known for its unusually vibrant spring foliage color. When unfurling, the leaves acquire rich orange-yellow hues with a delicate reddish rim, making the tree look as if illuminated by the rays of the rising sun. Throughout the season, the color gradually changes, maintaining high ornamental value until late autumn.
Decorative Features
The main advantage of the variety is the expressive change in leaf color. In spring, young leaves unfurl in bright golden-yellow and apricot-orange tones with a delicate red border along the edges of the lobes. This combination of shades is rare among Japanese maples and makes the variety easily recognizable.
In summer, the foliage turns light green with a slight golden tint, maintaining a fresh and elegant appearance even in hot weather. Thanks to the delicate leaf texture, the crown remains light and airy.
In autumn, the tree once again becomes a bright accent in the garden. The leaves turn rich golden-yellow, orange, and orange-red tones, creating a warm palette for the autumn landscape.
The crown is characterized by a neat, broadly rounded shape with dense branching. Graceful shoots form a dense but not heavy structure, making the plant look elegant at any time of the year.
Even after leaf fall, the tree retains an attractive silhouette with thin branches and smooth grayish-brown bark.

Het aantal stuks klopte met de bevestiging. De geschreven naam klopte met de productpagina. Niets leek haastig of slordig voorbereid.

Não apareceu secura repentina depois da plantação. Depois de plantar, não surgiram sinais evidentes de stress. Era um pormenor pequeno, mas reparei nele imediatamente.
