Description
«Jasmine (Star)» is a decorative liana: a bright garden element where naturalness is combined with a neat form and expressive texture. Evergreen foliage or needles retain rich green tones and maintain the decorative appearance of the planting all year round. Flowering continues from June to August and reveals the characteristic palette for the variety. As an adult, the plant usually reaches 3–6 m in height and about 2–3 m in width, so its future scale is easy to take into account when planning planting.
The variety best reveals its decorative qualities with a properly chosen location and stable, but not excessive, care. Optimal lighting — sun or partial shade, protected place. Soil — fertile, well-drained. Watering — moderate. Frost resistance — medium, about −10…−15 °C.
In garden design, the plant is valued for its plasticity and ability to harmoniously support various planting styles. Best use scenarios — arches, walls, trellises, pergolas, vertical gardening. The main advantages of «Jasmine (Star)» are year-round decorativeness, prolonged flowering, impressive vertical gardening, fragrant flowering, and an expressive vertical silhouette. To maintain its shape, it is enough to follow this pruning scheme: light pruning after flowering; in cold regions, grow near a protected wall/in a container.
