Description

Juniper 'Pfitzeriana' - is a spectacular evergreen coniferous shrub with a dense, spreading crown and picturesquely arranged shoots. It is valued for its unpretentiousness, good ability to grow wide, and year-round decorativeness. This juniper is perfect for creating voluminous coniferous compositions and landscaping areas in a natural style.

The main adornment of the plant is its dense needles of a rich green or glaucous-green hue. Long branches grow sideways, and their tips slightly rise and beautifully cascade, giving the mature bush an expressive multi-tiered shape.

The juniper gradually forms a wide, dense, and spreading crown. Depending on the growing conditions and the specific form of the Pfitzeriana group, a mature plant can reach approximately 1–2 m in height and 2–4 m in width. It tolerates formative pruning well, so the size of the bush can be controlled.

For planting, it is recommended to choose a sunny location or light partial shade. In a well-lit area, the crown develops especially densely. The plant prefers loose, well-drained soils and, after rooting, tolerates temporary lack of moisture quite well. Prolonged waterlogging at the roots should be avoided.
