Description
«Munstead» is a fragrant lavender with a recognizable garden form and decorative appeal that unfolds differently throughout the season. The herbaceous foliage forms a neat seasonal mass and emphasizes the natural rhythm of perennial planting. Flowering continues from June to August, revealing the variety's characteristic palette. When mature, the plant typically reaches 0.4–0.7 m in height and about 0.5–0.8 m in width, so its future scale is easy to consider when planning planting.
For harmonious development, it is important to select conditions close to the plant's natural requirements. Optimal lighting – full sun. Soil – fertile, well-drained. Watering – moderate; regular during drought, without waterlogging. Frost resistance – high in dry soil, around −15…−20 °C.
In the landscape, the variety easily works both as a standalone accent and as part of a more complex composition. Best use scenarios include flower beds, mixed borders, mass plantings, containers. The main advantages of «Munstead» are prolonged flowering, good winter hardiness, suitability for container cultivation, compact form, and fragrant blooms. To maintain its shape, it is sufficient to adhere to the following pruning scheme: after the end of the season, remove dead aerial parts; for lavender – light annual shaping.

Schön geformter Setzling, mit gut entwickeltem Wurzelsystem, viele junge Triebe. Und vor allem der angenehmste Duft, selbst von der kleinen Größe des Strauchs ist der Duft wahrnehmbar, selbst wenn man einen Meter davon entfernt steht. Alles super!
