Description

Lilium "My Wedding" - is a stunning new variety of double oriental lily named My Wedding.

This variety grows from 110-120 cm up to 150 cm in height. The flowers are huge, cup-shaped, about 30 cm in size. It blooms in the garden in August. It grows best in partial shade. It requires moist and well-drained soils, rich in humus, with a slightly acidic reaction, with a pH index of 5.5-6.5 (heather soils). It looks beautiful in group plantings in the garden and against a lawn background. The distance between plants should be 30-45 cm.

Oriental lilies form leafy, unbranched stems with flowers that are generally quite sensitive to frost. Therefore, in winter, they require good cover or it is better to dig them up (store in a cold basement). This variety is well suited for growing in greenhouse conditions for industrial cutting. Suitable for growing in containers. Planting time is spring (after the end of frosts) and early autumn.
