Lilium "Passion Moon" is an elegant Asian variety with unusual bicolored petals and a graceful appearance. The plant forms straight, dark green stems with lanceolate leaves that effectively highlight the beauty of the cup-shaped flowers, up to 10 cm in diameter. The petals feature an original combination of shades: the central part is colored in a rich wine-burgundy, while the edges are adorned with a delicate milky hue. The dense buds emit a very light, pleasant fragrance with subtle perfumed notes. Flowering continues from July to August, and the plant reaches a height of up to 100 cm.
Thanks to its compact size, Lilium Passion Moon is excellent for growing both in open ground and in containers or pots for decorating terraces, balconies, gazebos, or attics. Bulbs can be planted in spring – from mid-April, or in autumn – from early September to mid-October. For planting, it is best to choose sunny areas, as Asian lilies are heat-loving plants. The variety grows well in various soil types with good drainage, no waterlogging, and no close proximity of groundwater. Bulbs are recommended to be planted in holes approximately 20 cm deep.
For abundant and vibrant flowering, the plant should be fed with complex fertilizers 3-4 times per season. Watering should be moderate, especially in the morning hours, without overwatering the soil. With proper care, Lilium Passion Moon will become an exquisite decoration for your garden or container arrangement.
