Description
Lilium "Red Velvet" is a spectacular variety with a deep velvety red color that looks particularly striking in the evening garden. Its rich color creates a strong contrast with green foliage and light-colored flowers.
The plant reaches a height of about 90-120 cm, with strong stems and large flowers. The petals are dense, red, sometimes with a darker shade closer to the center, which creates an effect of depth. The flowers are directed upwards or sideways, holding their shape well.
It blooms in July. The variety is winter-hardy, resistant, and unpretentious. It prefers sunny areas or light partial shade and fertile, well-drained soil. It is excellent for cutting and creating bright floral arrangements.
